overthehills
Just bought a decked out 2012 DJ Crew lease return with 31,000 on it. Coming from a 2000 Chreokee (which I still cherish) I'm going through quite a shock. So many gadgets. I hope I can learn the full potential of all the accessories this thing has on it... I'm looking forward to being a member of this forum - Thank you
rolly
Welcome to the forum. I know what you mean about the gadgets, My wife kept losing me the first week we had the Journey and finally figured out I was sitting in the driveway just trying out all the buttons. DTSGUY
I love my Journey but I was thinking that it lacked all the tech stuff. I know mine is only the 2010 but Ive been in a fully loaded 2013 and I felt the same. Maybe its cause Im in the audio video industry and I see all the new Tech stuff daily. Right now I think Ford is leading the auto industry when it comes to Tech and I hate Ford.
jkeaton
Yeah, that sync thing in the Fords is lightyears ahead of uconnect. DTSGUY
guls
I have 2 vehicles with My Ford Touch and then Journey with Uconnect. And yes MFT is way ahead. Edited January 14, 2014 by guls jkeaton and DTSGUY
redtomatoman
I haven't spent any real time with the ford touch system, so maybe it is ahead of uconnect. BUT back in 2011 when I was looking at vehicles, the ford system was slooooowwwww. I appreciated the quick response of the uconnect in the DJ. That said, the ford touch system may certainly be more capable. Not sure. I have a few complaints with uconnect, but overall it is quite capable and works fine. Peace. Journeyman425
Welcome to the forum! I too went from a 2000 300M (also which I still own and cherish) to a 2013 Journey and like you, sat in it in my driveway for days just learning all the new features. My 300M was close to cutting edge when it was new, but the Journey has the tech content in spades over the Chrysler. jkeaton
