That is the problem with stock...I don't think they are setup to accept USB even if you use a converter. Then there is the problem of formats i.e. .mkv, avi mpeg 4 etc

I bought an after market headrest player instead that takes USB and SD card, and gets power from the 12v (there is one at the REAR and in the trunk)

I m going through tris isse now, the USB port does not have reading capabilities for video codecs like MP4, .AVI or .DivX, I found in other forums trata one choice is to record files on a DVD-R as data files no DVD/CD files. One last option it is to convert these codec extensions to a DVD format by using a com mercal converter like softhonic
