jjoymath
Are there any recalls for the lifters on the 2009 dodge journey. I had a ticking noise and was told my lifters were bad, had them replaced and still hear the ticking?
bigtsr
You may be hearing the fuel injectors actuating - often mistaken for lifter noise. Journey_SeXT

SeoulJourney
I brought mine to the dealership today and they are ordering replacement lifters covered under the warranty. I hope it fixes the noise. I had a Nissan with 150k miles with noisy lifters, but it didn't affect the engine too much. The engine is only noisy after a cold start, that why I think the lifters are to blame. When I took the car to the dealership they couldn't identify the problem. Luckily I video taped the cold start. It looks like the previous owner didn't care much about maintanence. The car had low coolant and oil. But since it was still covered under warranty and the mileage was low, it was a hard offer to turn down. Can I add videos to these posts?
