Denz07
2009 Journey SXT RWD - 134,000 Kms New to the forum and have a problem that needs diagnosis. I did a search but haven't had much luck. On two occasions, while driving, the engine quits. Not a stall but completely quits. No dash lights, no radio, dead! Stop the car, turn it to the off position and restart without any motor hesitation. No engine light either so I'm assuming no code. Almost like the GM recall but I still have the ability to steer and brake fortunately. This happened with my wife once (didn't tell me) and once together ("oh I meant to tell you!"). Together, we had just hit a small bump and not sure if that's associated no not. Recent routine maintenance, in the last 4,000 Kms, we had the timing belt and spark plugs replaced. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks.
Lobitz68
Since it happened after hitting a bump I would start with looking for loose connections... Especially with the work you recently had done, stuff definitely needed to be removed.
