They're not the gloss black you see on the black tops, think its a custom job. He's asking $1,775, which is steep! I tried to negotiate him down, but he wont budge, price is firm. Not so sure he'll sell them at this price but is a wheel AND tire set, w/TPMS, so maybe.. maybe. If anyone has cash to burn and want a custom look, check these out! They would look sweet on Granite Crystal or Pitch Black Journey IMO. Edited May 23, 2014 by DJSXT14
travis9935
$1950 Shipped! What a rip off! Why would you spend that much money to look stock?
onecrazyfoo4u
That is a big rip, considering you can just plastidip your stock wheels for less than $100...or even go get them powder coated for a few hundred. They do look nice though...
FROGBOX
Yep. WAY overpriced stock wheels. Some did actually come in that color, so they could be original. Those wheels came in 3 color options. Silver, satin carbon & gloss black. It costs about $50 each to powder coat a wheel, so if you really like the color, get a set of the more common silver ones and have them powder coated. Wheel options on dodge website: http://www.dodge.com/en/journey/exterior/ EDIT: I read through the whole auction listing and they are indeed refinished. But still, $2000 for wheels & tires is steep. Personally while not a huge fan of Plastidip, I have seen some incredible examples of what it can do both here and on the Sky/Solstice forums I belong to. I hate to say it, but I am of an age where chrome wheels were king, everybody wanted Cragar SS's or ET diamond spoke wheels on their cars. DJSXT14
I absolutely love the "dark" hyper silver look. IE, Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 wheels. Or, the R/T Journey OEM's.
Destination
those look great. I'd rather have that than my blacktop edition gloss black. DJSXT14
