Canada_Jay
When I am in park and try to rev the engine (quick shot of gas) the RPMs climb quickly to 3500-4000 but then then stay there and sllloowwwwlllyy drop back down? Does your Journey do this?? I am used to being able to rev an engine and have it rev and then return to idle quickly. This just seams weird to me. It will not rev above 4000 no matter how far or long you press the pedal, and is slow to drop to idle. I think this is due to the fact that the throttle is electronic. Probably a good idea just in case anyone lets their kids drive them, a friend of mine used to love doing neutral drops at red line in his dads E-class, the tranny didn't last long after that... Is this because its breaking period after that it will rev up to the redline?
