rcannon440
Has anyone performed any performance upgrades to the 3.5 liter?
wyoram
I wouldn't mind a supercharger on mine :elefant:
JourneyMan71
Has anyone performed any performance upgrades to the 3.5 liter? I have looked over a few sights, but so far no upgrades for the Journey as yet. If it continues to do well, we might see some by summers end, maybe. :talkhand:
JourneyMan71
I( am hoping in a few months there will be some stuff out. I have put MOPAR header on my Caliber 2.0L K&N CAI and MagnaFlow Exhaust. Would be sweet to have it set up like that on my Journey.
JourneyMan71
What is the difference in the Journeys engine 3.5L V6 and the Charger 3.5L V6? I know it is rated at less HP 235 compared to 250 HP Charger, and Torque is 232, compared to 250 in the Charger. Is it just detuned or different heads, intake, etc? I am just wondering. W_A_Watson_II
Details are hard to find, but supposedly the engine is downgraded in some fashion for the Avenger/Journey. Charger: Allpar Site on The 2.7, 3.2, 3.5, and 3.8 Liter V6 Mopar (Chrysler-Plymouth-Dodge) Engines Journey: Allpar Site on Chrysler, Dodge, and Plymouth 3.3, 3.5, 3.8 Liter V-6 Engines Not sure why there are two different specification pages at Allpar on the engine.
