dadatony
Just ordered a set of SRT replicas for the DJ. They are 20x8.5. Here is the question. Discount tire approves both the 245/45 and a 255/45 for the journey but i want to run the 245/50. Has anyone ran these with or without rubbing issues? It seems to be a common suv/cuv tire, cx-9, and toyota venza use it. Let me know, thanks.
DJSXT14
Wont be a problem bud. I have 20" Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT reps on my Journey along with 245/45's. I initially wanted 245/50, but they weren't in stock where I went. 245/50 wouldn't be an issue, but I wouldn't go thicker than that. Actually, when these tires are through, ill be changing them to 255/50's for a bit better handling. Side note: I run stock rims/tires for the winter, 225/65r17's.
