jkeaton
Depends on the size. You say you have 225/65-17 and want to go to "245". Well, 245 what? If you go 245/65-17, you will increas the height by almost 1" and the width by @1". Here is a handy calculator for figuring out tire sizes: http://www.1010tires.com/Tools/Tire-Size-Calculator Get out a tape measure and start measuring distances from your tire to body/suspension parts at full lock and such. Figure out how much room you have to play with. compco
Lobitz68
It's roughly a 0.8 inch difference, don't think you need to worry about it. compco
travis9935
So go 245/60-17? It should be the same size. A Dj for trail use? Hopefully your talking gravel road only cause this isn't a "off-road" vehicle. GOOGLE SEARCH IS A GOOD STARTING POINT!

compco
I bought DJ 19" rims for my 2013 DJ and put 245/65/19 Cooper CS4 Tourers on it they are fantastic, truly, no rub, heaps of clearance, 2 inches higher all around, similar rolling diameter so no noticeable change in the speedo, maybe 1 mile at 60 mph. Go for it Somp0924 you definitely will not regret it.
