dhh3 Posted August 21, 2014 Report Share Posted August 21, 2014 (edited) The ballast is built into the tail light housing. If you have a connector that has 3 wires: white with a silver stripe, white and black, they should plug right in and work. For 2014, the incandescents bulbs are still available on the lowest priced DJ. I highly doubt if there are 2 distinct wiring harnesses. I pulled my connector off of my left rear LED: 12v at the connector which is why I believe that the ballast that reduces the voltage for the LEDs is built into the housing.
