DebN Posted August 27, 2014 Report Share Posted August 27, 2014 just purchased 2014 dodge journey SE. i love this vehicle however i do have one complaint and that is horsepower. does anyone know how i can get more i have the 2.4.....i do also want to add the back up camera i just have to talk my hubby into buying it for me..... Aside from dropping a bigger engine into it, there is practically nothing you can do about it. Bolt ons may gain you a few HP here and there, but nothing that will make a noticable difference. The back up camera costs around $300 and according the the service manual, it takes 2 hours to install. My Dealer had my Journey for 4 days (over the weekend; long story) but they still only charged me the 2 hours labor!
