Blackout
Good evening everyone So this morning I take my journey in for a car wash and I left the sunroof cover open but the sunroof itself was closed I noticed a few drops of water land on my arm rest console. Is this normal ? I got home poured water on sunroof Window and no drips of water Any ideas what it is? Should I be concerned or is everyone having same issue Vehicle is 2013 journey rt with 22 thousand km
Journeyman425
If the car wash has one of those high-pressure fans to blow the water off of the car at the end of the wash, it is not unusual for it to spit a couple of drops into the interior. My 300M has done that during the fan cycle but has never leaked water otherwise in all of its 14 years. If you have compressed air and a blow gun, you can run compressed air down the sunroof tub drains to make sure they are clear. If the car does not leak any water thru the roof in any other circumstance, then there is nothing to worry about. Leave the shade open during the next rain storm and see if any water comes in. If so, then it is time for a dealer visit. This would be a warranty matter.

Your vehicle is designed to keep out rain, keep an eye on it and notify your dealer if you experience any additional leaks under normal conditions. jkeaton
Car washes will find a leak even where there is not one. Just imagine taking a high pressure hose and pointing it at some point where a moving window meets weatherstripping....
