bigtsr
Try shaking the steering wheel back and forth the next time it does it , Mopar used an interlock cable on the old keyed ignitions goes between the steering column and the shifter and it sometimes does that with age and wear. OhareFred
Isn't there a. Recall for journey ignition switches? I got a notice that's states there is, but parts are not available yet. It says to only have the key in the ignition by itself, no key ring...

bigtsr
That recall was for the keyfobs popping out of that usb looking ignition if I remember correctly and if you had a heavy keyring on it the problem was more pronounced. OhareFred
It is. I just checked it, it covers 09-10 model years, journey and a couple other models. Since the op has a 10, might be worth looking into....

Sorry to hear you're having troubles with your Journey. Based on the symptoms, I strongly recommend bringing your vehicle to your local Dodge dealer. This could in fact be ignition related, in which case it would be best to address sooner rather than later. Keep us posted if you can.
