I've got to change my front tires, and I've been told about this brand (Cooper), they're made in USA, and that's why I thought some of you could use them on your Journeys. My other choice are Yokohama, repeating original tires. This is my first tires changing in this car, and I drove for 60.000 Kms, so, I think Yokohama is a good choice when looking for durability. Journey_SeXT Posted November 28, 2014 Report Share Posted November 28, 2014 The U.S. (North American) made was actually a selling feature for me when I got the Cooper CS5's for my other ride. They were reasonably priced and I can say that I like em' a lot. I've only driven 8,000 km's (5,000 miles) with them so it's is still early to say how good they are but so far I'm impressed. I think that heavy cars (like ours) tires don´t last so long as others, and I'm surprised with Yokohama's "mileage", and I wanted to know if somenoe driving with Coopers had the same feeling. I read both good and bad thing about the Factory Khumos here on the forum. The bad seemed to outweigh the good. So, I purchased a set of Bridgestone Dueler H/L Alenza Plus. That being said, I wouldn't say that just because your current set lasted that long that ALL Yokohamas will last that long. I've found the same model of tire that it used from the Factory (Yokohama Aspec A349), so, I hope I'll get similar results if I choose it. Thank you for your comment.
