bessbess
Hi all, I've owned my Journey for about 40 days and we live here in southern Georgia where we were hammered by rain the last 72 hours or so. I was at the comissary the other day and opened my gate to grab my green bags bags and though wow that's odd for the agte to let so much water in when I open it. Only to find that the headliner was wet and stained from previous leaks. I took my journey to the dealer they said they fixed only to make it worse, the next day I had standing water in the jack area. No answers from anyone no clues and they can't seem to simulate the problem at the dealers, but they have seen the standing water and stains on the headliner. Ran into another mom this morning and told her to check and she has the same problem. Has anyone experienced this problem? And I advise everyone to go check the back of your journey to make sure you're not havig the same problem. We both have the Journey SXT, and they were both bought in Florida. HELP anyone please!!!! Thanks

WOLF
if it has the roof rails make sure they are fitted the CORRECT way around.......and also check the rear screen washer pipework is connected and also not leaking (pinched pipework)
wyoram
If it had a sunroof I could tell you I feel your pain. Do you have roof racks? The roof racks or the seal for the back hatch would be possible points of entry for the water. But other than that good luck. Let us know what you find out. bessbess
bessbess- I think I was talking to the tech that is working on your car. What color is it? And is it in Kingsland? My car is white the other moms car is gold and yes we are both in Kingsland. I had to travel again on Tuesday for the water to be sucked out. It rained all night long and my car was wet gain. They have someone coming in within a couple of weeks to take a look. nothing new yet however.
wyoram
The tech I talked to said he is working on a gold one. From what I can gather you might have a lemon. Sounds like the higher ups are calling the shots now. Hope they do you right and not drag this thing out.

Yeah that's the other mom she took hers to the dealer here in town I took mine to my orginal dealer. From what i understand they have now passed it on to their district guy and he has passed it on to the other guy above him. I'm not giving up. We LOVE our Journey, and know that we just got a rare deal where something somewhere along the assembly line got messed up or not put in right, not the fault of my dealer just a mass produced thing that went wrong. So far they haven't said anything about a lemon but from what i understand in my lemon book, once you've had the same problem fixed three times in the stae of flordia then yes you got a lemon. We go on Tuesday to find out more with Navy legal, i hate to have to take such action but I'm not getting any answers and I don't want to drive 30 plus miles round trip to get the water sucked outta my car each time we have down pours. Not sure if i want to go with a Jounrey again if that is the case, i had a highlander before the journey and I've kicked myself a few times since trading that sucker in....
