Potlicquor
@ dhh3... whatever was in the small vent tube attached to the filler neck blocking it from venting the gas vapors / fumes from the tank during the gassing up process is still in there so I"m not concerned with it having dissolved and entered the gas tank itself (that was a concern that I had if all the sudden the problem went away on it's own vs having the filler neck with attached vent tube replaced to correct it)! I don't doubt that there have always been (and still are) workers who sabotage some of the items / products they work on and/or build, etc. to get even or just have a laugh wondering how much misery the person who gets his/her handy work will endure. @ 11journeybama... love a Taco or most any Mexican food for that matter (even at Taco Bell) and yes I certainly do know what 'the runs' are (to put it politely)! dhh3
Minoch
My 1 month old 2017 Journey Crossroads 6 cylinder has the gas tank problem. Will only fill to three quarters of a tank and the you have to pump super slow to fill up the rest of the way. The gas cap indicator on the dash also stays illuminated. Going to take it to the dealer this week. Minoch Central Texas
Bryman31
i have a 3 month old journey gt. without this problem. id say take it to the dealership. its on them (dodge) to fix it since its so new. id take it in when your at least 3/4 empty, and take the service guy with you to the gas station and show him EXACTLY what it does.. that way he can schedule you an apt. for later cause id say itll need to be empty for them to work on it jkeaton

Minoch
Dealer is telling me that 15 gallons is the full capacity and that it can't hold more fuel without malfunction. So the 20.5 gallon capacity in the owners manual is for expansion. And now I'm losing 100 miles of capacity. Anyone have a 2017 Journey Crossroads that can pump more than 15 gallons? Thanks, Minoch OhareFred
