Thanks redtomatoman,

Thanks lobitz68 are you gonna go to 20 or 22 or something or maybe lifting or lowering it?

At least 20"... still contemplating 22". I had asked for people's personal experiences in another threas, but most of the replies were opinions about how it would look etc. Very little actual feedback from people who have made the switch.

It is also unclear to me if the HHR lowering kit fits the AWD models... If so, I would be open to that.

I would be very interested in finding that out, if the lowering springs work with AWD. I've yet to look under our AWD and FWD Journey's (yes, two Journey household) and visually compare for differences.

I'd love to put on a set of 20x9 GC SRT wheels, polished, with lowering springs. SIgh.

Haha! Do it... Should be able to get replicates of the wheels, or use a spacer/adapter to change the bolt pattern.

I recall a post where someone had the lowering springs on an AWD, but have been unable to locate it to try and communicate with the poster. I haven't searched the internet very hard to find out, but they are definitely listed as FWD models by the manufacturer.

EDIT: Or... buy them for the AWD and if they don't fit, throw 'em on the other DJ!!

Bolt pattern is the same, and I've seen the replicas. We'll see after all the work I need to put into my Special this year.

Owner of said DJ would *not* be thrilled with that plan lol.

Oh, thought the GC had a different pattern... Wife's car? Are they (wives) ever thrilled? I live by the motto that "it is easier to ask forgiveness than it is to beg for permission"...
