Yossef Maga
Hey! It seems like i'll be purchasing a 2012 Dodge Journey (37k km) but i've been reading about a lot of problems people have had with the 2009-2011 Journeys. So it leads me to some questions: Have the problems that were persistent in the older models been upgraded/fixed in any way (specifically brake pads/rotors)? Should I be weary of buying a 2012 Dodge Journey for any other reasons or would you recommend this car?
Journey_SeXT
I have a 2011 with no problems (knock on wood). The only chronic problem that I know of is the brakes tend to go quickly on the 09-11....also some of the earlier built 2012's have the smaller brakes and were changed mid way through the year so you may want to be aware of that before your purchase. Good Luck and hopefully we will see you here in the future posting about your new Journey purchase. Yossef Maga
dhh3
It is very easy to see the huge calipers through the wheel holes in the front. If what you are looking at is an early issue 2012, give this some thought.
jkeaton
Lockinc two of these three. Keeping the one open in buying, leasing and ordering. Op, only one post is required.
