tcarle
Has any one had an issue of the TIPM causing the fuel pump to have a open circuit and the issue was relay failure in the TIPM? Why would any manufacture put a computer into a fuse box and have to air circulation that produces heat and cause the relay to get hot. Most of the cars has the relays on the firewall and with less problems. This car has less than 100,000 miles and that comes out to 20,000 a year. Built in 8/2009. And because the bumper to bumper is out so isn't the TIPM. Lawsuit going on about this issue. No recalls are reported except for the cars that is still under warranty. Lobitz68
Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep/RAM has used the TIPM to control everything in their vehicles for more than a decade, it's definitely not a new concept in the automotive world. Also, to call the TIPM a fuse box is a bit of a stretch, there are fuses in it, but the name suggests, every vehicle function is integrated into it. It sucks yours is toasted, but a vehicle with 100,000 miles on it has an increased chance of repairs being required. And, while the TIPM is an expensive part, a lawsuit seems a bit frivolous and over the top to me. Shit breaks, it's part of owning a car... 2late4u and dhh3

And, why aren't you covered? Just to be clear, there is a fuse box on top of the TIPM, but it is all one unit. It is built this way so there are not excess wires running all over the place. You can find these on ebay. You will need to get one for your model year and the approximate options on your DJ.
