eightfingers
I'm looking at a 2015 DJ XRoad AWD and wondering what a good price would be for these options? They want $33,060. onecrazyfoo4u
What is your location (since that plays a big factor into pricing)? Up front that seems way overpriced to me. I got my new 2012 Crew with all of the same options that you list out (minus back up camera and AWD) for $25k even. I would expect to pay around $27-28k for the vehicle you listed out...unless you're in Canada. Check out truecar.com to see what others are paying in your location. onecrazyfoo4u
Here's the truecar link with those options on a AWD Crossroad in New York. $32,500 is the average selling price for that vehicle, with a truecar (excellent deal) price of $30,500. I'm surprised the price has gone up that much since I purchased mine 3 years ago. https://www.truecar.com/prices-new/dodge/journey-pricing/2015/53F5DCC5/?trimOptionIds=1-C-U,15-C-U,11-C-U,0-C-U,16-C-U,18-C-U,24-C-U,12-C-U,20-C-U,8-C-U,33-C-U,31-I,21-C-U,30-I&exteriorColorId=1036924&interiorColorId=1036922&incentiveIds=4000093051,4000118480&trimId=268733&zipcode=12201 Edited March 10, 2015 by onecrazyfoo4u
eightfingers
That's fantastic then! I just got mine for 29,405 yesterday and was just wondering about the deal I got. I also traded in a 2011 Nissan Juke for 13,200, which I feel was 1k over what the car was worth but was what I owed on it. I did however lease it for 2 years with a buyout of $21,1xx at the end of my lease.

Just curious, why were you asking about the $33k price then, if you already got one for $29k?
bramfrank
Well, according to what I just saw, the price of the vehicle is $28,217 - the navigation option was checked and it isn't on the OP's feature list. So it looks like the price was 'right', but not 'extreme'. As to leasing, that buyback is on the high side, so you'll likely be getting a new car in 2 years rather than taking the vehicle over. I wasn't looking to buy the vehicle after 2 years at this point. However, just wondering what you think the value would be after 2 years? No one is going to ask? Details on the screen name please? Antdog24
You were in the military? They have some discounts for veterans. I got my 2015 Crossroad with everything you listed minus the premium sound for about 29k. Absolutely love the car, the gas mileage while breaking in was a little rough but I"ve got about 2500 miles on it now and I'm averaging about 21mpg combined.
