Notappliable
Ok, I have a 2009 DJ with the touch screen, DVD, cd, rear mounted tv screen and the uconnect buttons (no uconnect though). Today it just started turning on and off every twenty seconds or so. While it's doing this I can't do anything with it, not even eject the cd. I had the battery disconnected at the boost point for half an hour and it didn't change anything. Please help lol.
dhh3
If rebooting did nothing, replacement radios can be found at oemautoparts.com. They bench test all of their radios. if there is a tiny scratch on the screen, they replace it! Some are brand new - dealer take outs. The radio model number is printed on the right bottom corner: ie, RBZ They are about 1/2 the price of anyone that I have found. I have purchased 3 radios from them. I would recommend having the radio inspected by your Dodge dealer first before you entertain any replacement. Repairs could be something simple like a flash update to the radio software. Certainly worth calling your dealer at minimum to verify any outstanding updates etc.
Notappliable
Thanks for the help, I've taken it out of the car to check it out. If anything, maybe that will be all it needs lol.
bramfrank
Doesn't that radio have a hard drive? If so, it may be the source of the problem. There are lots of them on eBay if you need one and dhh3's suggestion doesn't work out.
