BlackTopJourney13
So it can be done... pretty basic, just time consuming! Used audio control lc2i to feed the amp rca and remote turn on. Awesome piece of equipment!
dhh3
I replaced all of my Speakers with Alpines (dash tweeters get installed on Thursday). With my Kicker underseat Sub w/ported enclosure, I see no need for an amp.
BlackTopJourney13
My journey didn't come with an amp so an install was necessary if I wanted any bass
dhh3
I, too, have the non Nav 8.4 base system. I can not believe the base that comes out of this little Kicker box! The tech initially thought that it was a waste of time and my $ until he heard it. Awesome, for what it is. When I purchased my DJ last summer, I saw a factory amp for sale on ebay, but was not sure how to hook a sub to it, so I passed.
