André Paquette
Hey guys, I just bought a 2009 SXT with a REQ uconnect model radio built in. I just tried pairing my LG G3 with the radio using the voice procedure, everything works fine, I get incomming call notifications, I can see the call duration on the radio and my phone displays that the call is being forwarded to the radio. Only thing is, NO SOUND AT ALL, people can't hear me and I can't hear people during calls. I tried pairing my other phone (LG G2) and my dad's Samsung S3, same problem with every phone. I've read on forums a lot and people say that if the uconnect hands free module isn't installed, the REQ should tell me upon pressing :"feature not available" but since the phone is pairing I find it really odd. Am I missing something? Should I see some sort of microphone somewhere in the car? If i'm only missing the microphone should'nt I be able to hear people trough the bluetooth? If anyone has experience with this feel free to pitch in, I love the car and I'm about to get it to the dealership to see if maybe it's an update needed or something else! Thanks in advance for your time and answers
dhh3
The dual microphones are in the rear view mirror. Make sure all of the wires on the back of the mirror are fully plugged in and seated. Also. check for any bent pins.
bigtsr
The volume for the phone is controlled by the radio volume control whether the radio is on or not so check that. Also check at Dodge.com regarding compatibility of the phones you are pairing.

Thanks in advance for your time and answers André Paquette, Welcome to the forum. Step one should be confirming phone compatibility with the system equipped with your vehicle. As bigtsr mentioned, check phone compatibility online at the driveuconnect website. Also, don't hesitate to get this to your local Dodge service facility as they have specialized instruments for these types of issues. Keep us posted.
