TaSol
Hi guys. Please welcome me on this forum as I'm brand new here. I'm from Johannesburg, South Africa and drive a 2010 Dodge Journey. My navigator needs recent maps update. Is there a quickest DIY option available out there? Will appreciate your advises.

OhareFred
As far as I know you have to get the disk from Dodge. You might be able to get it on the Internet, but be careful, make sure it's the offical disk! Welcome!
TaSol
Thanks. Will check with my dealership in the morning.
pacman
You can also check your VIN in this web https://rsur.extra.chrysler.com/rsur/Uconnect.do BTW, mine has no upgrade, and it needs. bramfrank
That site is only for the underlying operating software.

TaSol
To Bouffe & Silenze Hi guys. Pardon me the long wait. There seems to be no one at my dealership who knows how to go about map updates. They keep promising to come back to me,they ultimately don't. Waiting for my next oil change. Will update you then guys. Ciao Michael Bouffe

TaSol
I reckoned nothing's said about Africa. Pity.
hockey_puck
$149 bucks. Ouch!
air1rfc
The $149 is USD. With Fed Ex Express shipping and conversion it comes to $225 CAD. The 2015 Maps just came out. I had it delivered today and installed it. It updates my area real well. It also added the max speed in the bottom right where the speed is. On the 2012 map that was only there if I went to the US. I would not get the update every year in fact I did my first one three years in and a move to a new city which had grown since 2012 made it a necessity.
