Nicki88
Does anyone else hear air releasing all the time? I took it in and they said it was the expansion valve. It is a low hissing noise. I have never had this in any of my vehicles. Plus, my air is colder on the passenger side than on the drivers side and they told me it was that way in all of the Journeys? And it doesn't blow full force unless we are going over 55 MPH. The dealer keeps acting like I am crazy and said it didn't happen to them but I have had 3 different people with me notice it. Anyone else have this?

Anyone else have this? I also have noticed this "hissing" and wondered what it is. It seams to be connected to the throttle - the more push the gas pedal down - the more the hissing sounds. You can say that the hissing is behaving the way the engine is. The more engine noise - the more hissing. Is this the same for you? About the cooling - idiot question: you know you can set the climate control separately for the left and right side (and rear) of the vehicle? And have you checked the way the blowers is blowing the air? A draft can make it seam colder than it really is. /Andreas

Both are set the same and the air temp difference is obvious right in the center counsel section. My hissing sound happens even when I turn off the car. It sounds like something releasing air but it is constant. It will stop for a minute and then start back up. I hear it in the rear and in the front.
