tonyb
Anyone else having problems with the clock speeding up? I it moves ahead a minute every two days. KJC
Lobitz68
Not that badly, but Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep is notorious for that... There may be a software update for your stereo.
bramfrank
If you have the factory nav there's a setting for the car to use GPS time, which is extremely accurate
jkeaton
Mine does it, I believe it is a common problem. My car is at the dealer at the moment for that and a couple other things. I will start a new thread when we get it back tonight detailing what we had done.
dhh3
The Nitro had the same issue. I swapped out my radio 3 times, and all the clocks were fast. What controls the time is not in the radio. The radio only displays the time. All I remember about the TSB was for the dealer run a test. If the test failed, some part was exchanged. bigtsr
Mine has done it from day one. I hear if you do 118 mph you can catch up to it. lol KJC and dhh3
KJC
Mine has done the same thing since day one. I usually wait until it is about 10 minutes fast then fix it back. dhh3
Lobitz68
Mine has done the same thing since day one. I usually wait until it is about 10 minutes fast then fix it back. Its so easy to set the time on these radios, why wait? I do mine every time I notice it is off... dhh3
jkeaton
I forgot about this thread. Whatever module the dealer replaced when we complained about the clock running fast fixed it. We have not had to adjust the time since. dhh3

jkeaton
I just drive in reverse for a couple of days. That only works for recharging the flux capacitor. rolly and dhh3

dhh3
Just run at the speed of light for the number of minutes that the clock is off. If the DJ can go 118, it should be able to reach the speed of light! rolly, jkeaton and Woah322
bigtsr
I have never seen it more than a few minutes fast because my right hand seat constantly checks it against her watch. jkeaton and rolly
