xcaliber81
It didn't look that big but it obviously was since my bumper was not cracked before I hit it. You can see a scratch it left assuming the beak. Kind of weak to be honest birds are not very big and the bumper cracked not impressed. dhh3
rolly
It could be, our geese don't duck! On second thought, I think it may have been a duck. I didn't notice the big quack in the bumper before! xcaliber81
Well I'm glad some finds it funny. Had it been yours would you find humor in it? Keep in mind this is now going to cost me my deductible on a car that's 1 year old. I had a logging truck in front of my 2008 dodge caliber and a large piece of bark came off and hit the bumper with no damage dhh3

Geo_Journey_2014
I too cracked my front bumper cover by scraping a snow mound at the end of my driveway over the winter. I am in the same boat, I have a high deductible and want to replace it myself. Has anybody put a SXT style bumper on a non-SXT?
QuarterSwede
Ouch. That's about $1K right there for the bumper and labor. I had to have mine replaced a few months ago when I slid off an exit ramp. Damn ice.

Your high deductable is your choice, myself, my deductable is $250. Yes I may pay more, but if something like this happens its not that big a hit. I really am sorry if you were offended, I'm sure the OP didnt mean it to be nasty. jkeaton and dhh3

nash211
Wow that is nasty, in Saskatchewan if it is wildlife it is covered no deductible. I know that does not help you but I still feel your pain, I am anal about my vehicle as well.

Damn ice. The front bumper must be more than the rear. My rear was $764.11. They reused the platinum piece, but now the little square piece on the left side won't stay in place. It is held on by a short tether.
