Tadek Janczykowski
Hi Guys,I'm happy DJ owner for 2 weeks. However my 2009 SE has no EVIC, the question is: does it mean that I've all functions disabled for life or can I somehow change them (f.e. headlight off, horn when closing and so on) using OBDII connection? The funny thing is both my FOBs does not have panic button - so there is no way I can set "horn" with FOB (as stated in the manual).
dhh3
There is a way to do it to only a few functions. This was possible on the Nitro so it has to possible on the DJ. I do not recall how to do it. Check out the nitroforumz.com
OhareFred
I have an 09 without the evic. Yes you can set some items like you listed. Download the manual, it's all in there. Too many steps to list.
Tadek Janczykowski
It looks like I have the "delay off". However it's set to 90sec. Is there a way to change it to 15 sec without EVIC?

Refer to the quoted post below... Everything is in the manual (the book in your glove box). If you don't have one, you can download it from Dodge. I have an 09 without the evic. Tadek Janczykowski
I have the manual and I've read it. I know that it cannot be done easy way, as I don't have the EVIC. What I'm asking for is some OBDII software, that could make it possible to set it up myself.

As far as the ones you are limited from doing because of things like your FOB, you may be able to get that kind of thing done at the dealer. There is a post on here elsewhere where a guy is "hacking" into the software, perhaps he can help you. The title has something to do with customizing Uconnect. dhh3
