Hckynut56
After a recent oil change I reset the "change oil" reminder per the instructions (since shop forgot to). Warning now gone. But since then or soon after (didn't pickup on when exact time started). My interior warning chimes no longer work. You know, the dings you get each time you start the vehicle. Also I tested the seat belt reminder and the light flashes, but no sound. Did I do something wrong during the oil warning reset ?? Might I just have a fuse out, or real issue that will require a visit to the dealership ?? Thanks !
sdeveau
As annoying as those chimes are, they shouldn't be affected by reseting the "Change Oil" notification light. It may be something as simple as a fuse, it may be something else though. Your dealer *should* be able to tell you.
