dmarzano
Does anyone know why when I burn CD's to the HDD some show the album title, track titles, artist, etc., but some do not. For example: When I touch HDD and go to "albums" some CD album titles are listed but for other I have numbers. Any help would be greatly appreciated. crh47
I've found that CDs that I've burnt will not show titles, but purchased CDs will.
sdeveau
I've found that while most store bought CD's show the song information, there are some that don't; it depends on the producer. I've also used "burnt" CD's and had no info show up.
noren
The info about the CD's comes from the MyGigs Gracenote database. In the system info on the MyGig you can see what Gracenote version you have. According to http://www.mofv.com/mygig/ the latest version is 1287 for the US. The dealer should be able to update to the latest version. I think the identification works by looking at the number of tracks and the lenght of the tracks. A burnt cd might not work if it's not identical to the original cd. /Andreas
sdeveau
Just remember that not all CDs will show information, no matter which version of Gracenote you have. For example: TI, T.I.P - Shows all information. Eminem, Relapse - Shows no information. While an updated version may be able to read the information provided with the CDs, not all CDs have the information to begin with.
