Weldmaster
Dear Friends, I have 2012 Journey Crew 3.6 FWD with Uconnect Touch Screen 8.4 and backup camera system. Yesterday, after morning commute, I parked my car for about 7 hours. When I started the engine in the afternoon, UConnect Touch Screen was just dead - no any power at all. The radio power(volume adjust) button under the screen, and CD eject was also dead. Only the row of buttons with Emergency, A/C were working. I turned off the engine and started again in 10 seconds. Still not working! After about 2 hours driving back home and one hour parked inside the garage, when I checked it again, Touch screen Back to work - no any issues so far! Just want to know what may cause this problem. And any suggestions! Many Thanks! Tony I
bigtsr
Software glitch I would think! Just like your desk/lap top sometimes they just don't boot up as intended. You turn it fully off let it sit for 10 minutes reboot and wala it must have been a glitch. dhh3

bramfrank
How much warranty do you have left? You might want to report it to the dealer if you are coming to the end of the 3 year bumper to bumper warranty, just to get the complaint on the books while the obligation to fix it remains. dhh3
