Wheel adapters?

Recommended Posts

I have a set of aftermarket rims from my last car but the bolt pattern is 5x114.3. I know ours are 5x127 and was thinking about just getting some wheel adapters but havent dealt with those at all before and wanted some opinions.

Personally I'll never use them again. Had some on another vehicle of mine. Ended up snapping wheel studs off. Coincidence? Maybe. But I have never had studs snap off on any other vehicle I've owned. Only the one with the spacers. Just my experience. Others will have different ones.

I have used them on two vehicles. If you decide to go with them, make sure they are hub-centric. This allows the spacer to be centered, exactly, on the hub, just like your wheel. Spidertrax makes the best spacers, IMHO, but I highly doubt that they make a set for the DJ. Do not get a cheap set with oval holes for the studs on your hub - you will only be guessing if they are centered.
