rb48901
This is my second brand new fresh of the lot car. My first was a TE Cortina! It is only in its first week of ownership and the only issue I have is the poor headlights. I don't know if it is an american thing but I had the same issue with my Mercedes ML320. Poor headlights with no depth penetration and almost 3700k light colour. I am now in the process of replacing said lights with osram nightbreakers for the low beams and leds (cree's) for the high beams. Apart from that the car has enough bells and whistles to keep me occupied. I have yet to get substantial fuel use figures, but with around town I am getting 10l/100km. On the headlights I know the manual suggest to move the tipm. How is this achieved? Is is fairly painless? Or can it end in disaster. Any thoughts would be appreciated. So far my impression of the car is that is was a good buy. Definitely not a load carrier. I'll leave that to the ML.
dhh3
Welcome to the forum. I have yet to see the need to replace my headlights, but if I do, I'll let someone else install them for me!
