Justin77
hello i ordered wheels for my journey but am now wondering about tire size, would 265-35-22 work? dhh3
dhh3
I have 255/50R19s on my Crossroad wheels. The Crossroad wheels have a slightly deeper dish than the rest of the DJ wheels. My tires are 10.04" wide and I can not get my index fingernail between the the front strut bottom mounting bracket and the tire. Hope this helps you. Thanks, I ordered 22" wheels to replace the stock 19" wheels but your post makes me think i should order 255-35-22 rather than 265-35-22 tires. Im trying to order as much as possible online and just have a shop mount/balance the tires. dhh3
Justin77
discount tires website shows both 255-35-22 and 265-35-22 both fit the journey crossroads, I guess it depends on the wheels. Am hoping the 265's fit as its a little wider. dhh3
dhh3
I forgot to mention offset. If your new wheels have a deeper dish to them, you could get by with a wider tire.

weasey31
Justin, Have you had success with your final selection of tire size? I want to maximize the tire width on my 2009 19" rims. Wanting to put on 265 but the front upper spring is close with the stock 225's. dhh3
Justin77
Still haven't bought tires for the wheels, can't decide between 255-30-22 and 265-35-22. Theres also a 255-35-22 but they are allot more expensive dhh3
jkeaton
It's a personal choice. dhh3
