Taakeferd
Hello there, I'm from Germany where Dodge are no longer distributing their cars and we have a huge problem with our Video Entertainment System. The DVD player on the rear seat roof isn't working any longer... I already unmounted the unit and tried to messure the pins of the connector, but seems that power is still there. The fuse M10 is okay as well. So I bought a player unit from ebay ~160$ from OEM-Resaler in US. Unfortunatly the same problem occures. No reaction from the player... Does anyone has a hint for me what to try? Or are there any wiring diagrams or pin assigments available? As Dodge doesn't distribute in Germany anymore, I can not get the documents here ... It's a 2009 Journey CRD with the 10,2" rear seat dvd player. I appreciate any kind of help in this case. Regards!
Lobitz68
I would start by disconnecting the negative battery cable at the jumper post for a while and see if the reset helps.
