3000 miles on my 2015 Journey now

Only one minor thing that cropped up.

Developed a slight vibration in the LF tire around 2100 miles, 57-67 mph.

So I took it in to have it checked. They rebalanced the fronts. That took care of it.

Had the first oil change done and upgrades to Pennzoil Platinum full synthetic.

$34 upcharge on the oil. No biggie.

And had my DRL's activated. No charge.

Getting consistent 23 mpg local and some highway driving. And 28-29 mpg on the

Interstate with the cruise on 72.

Couldn't be happier with my purchase.

My extended warranty covers oil changes, tire rotations and balance, wiper blades (1 set of front every 12 months) along with the rest of the car, with no deductible. So, I get what my Dealer offers. I finally rolled over 7,000 after a year + 1 month!

The good ol US of A we take up the hoop in Canada why? because we can its sad really that we dont get the options and coverage you do enjoy your Dodge

It's really not that bad. All you have to do is to negotiate what you want to the dealer at the time of purchase. I negotiated 3 years of oil changes for free among other things. You need to work the system especially here in Canada.

Pennzoil Ultra Platinum PurePlus through Amazon for $28. Add in a Purolator One PL12222 for another $7. $35 for a full synthetic top tier oil change where I know exactly what and how much is in my engine (changed 1 year post manufacturing date, give or take a few weeks). Beat that!

Mobile 1 on sale for $28 -5 qt bottle, 3.75 for another quart. Bosch premium filter on sale $6.99. Comfort in knowing what's really going in/on my car by doing it myself. Priceless.

You guys forgot to include the cost of beer...

How much is the restocking fee?

$8.50 for the six pack, and it was only an hour or so of actual work. So, maybe $1.50.

But I really only count the cost of beer when I have to provide it to other people for bigger work. Oil change/tire rotation (even with scrubbing out the back of the rims) is still just a 1 man job. Well, 1 man and a 5-year-old "helper." The beer is more for dealing with the helper than the work.

I drove my 2011 off the lot 4 years ago today and it still looks new

with the only things replaced being 4 new tires and first set of brakes

at 50,000 kms (31,000 miles) and 11.7 L/100km (20.1 mpg) with

95% city driving.

Also today is our 52nd wedding anniversary.
