sferlindes
On the outside edge of the doors there are those black pieces. Mine are starting to discolor. I guessing since thats where you touch it to close the door. I whipe it down with some uv protectant that i whipe all the plastic trim down with also. Is there a way to make this go away or is it just going to keep getting worse? dhh3
onecrazyfoo4u
I'd say it's time for some plastidip! Mine are slightly starting to do this too, probably from greasy fingers touching it all the time. dhh3 and jkeaton
dhh3
You could always replace them with black vinyl, because that is what they are. Probably need a heat gun. Edited August 19, 2015 by dhh3 jkeaton and dj cowboy
bigtsr
Those strips are standard parts from Mopar. Have you tried a product like WipeNew or Armorall ? Could be your UV wipe or carwax is the reason for looks as mine is 4 yrs old and still looks new. jkeaton, dhh3 and rolly
20journey11
I have the brilliant black and they are actually painted the same color as the rest of the vehicle . jkeaton, 11journeybama and dhh3
probak118
I use MOTHERS - Back to Black vlnyl and plastic trim restorer.. Seems to keep all trim looking like new, worth a shot to any of those type products.. jkeaton and dhh3
Lobitz68
Mine is painted (brilliant black) so I just wash and wax them like normal. I think for the other colors it is a vinyl sticker. You should be able to find new ones all over ebay or amazon. Pull those ones off and install new ones. dhh3 and jkeaton
sferlindes
I use Black Magic. If it was that or the wax it would be like this on both sides. Its just like this on the drivers side that is used the most. Just might have to replace them. They dont look like they come off easy. dhh3 and jkeaton

It will take some work, but if it bothers you then it seems worth it... Could always have a body shop do it too... It will be paint underneath, so you could always just leave them off. jkeaton and dhh3

dhh3
Chrome it! Your are joking, right? I saw a 300 last night with those chrome pieces all around the windows - even had chrome vent shades. I guess whatever floats your boat. jkeaton
