LED on low beam

Welcome to the forum.

If you had to adjust the aim, the light source is in the wrong place for the reflector and your high beams will be too low. Note too, that LED and HID conversions are not technically street legal.

Yes, Halogen bulbs are a lower colour temperature than overly white bulbs, but they work just fine.

For my part I went for lumens, rather than tint in my ride and installed HIR bulbs which work perfectly in the reflector (yes, you do need to trim the bulb tab to allow them to be installed) and they don't require re-aiming.

But even though technically they too are not street legal (because they aren't approved as an assembly with the reflector) no one will ever be able to tell that it's been modified without pulling out the bulbs and looking at the part numbers.

I just saw an ad for Phillips, and they make an LED equivalent for all the incandescent/halogen bulbs on our DJ. I punched in my zip code to find out where to buy them, and all the stores listed are closed!
