dj cowboy
Does anybody else find it necessary to wash the car after a road trip? My last trip was to Wausaukee WI and back. Even though my DJ wasn't that dirty, I had t wash it. rolly and dhh3

rolly
I do as well. That way I can't check for stone chips, bugs and get rid of the salt in the winter. It's both pride of ownership and neat freak with a dash of practicality. dhh3
jkeaton
I was when we first got it, now I'm like, eh....I got 4 others to wash, and a yard to mow, beer to drink....washing the wifes car is not a priority anymore..... dj cowboy, dhh3 and rolly
redtomatoman
I do. Certainly. I like to get the bugs off. Those things can really damage your paint if left to bake and react in the sun. I plan to keep my DJ for many years. I don't want the paint damaged if I can help it. Peace. rolly and dhh3
dhh3
I second the bugs. Also, salt in winter, but I only do it if it is above freezing! rolly

With four cars to wash and mowing you must go through a lot of beer! jkeaton
B4ZINGA
Depends on the trip. When we drove to Alpena and back, I used a front end mask to catch the bugs and washed the car when we got back. Driving to Port Huron for work, I do it when I do it. I need to do it this weekend... jkeaton
bfurth
I've had too many other projects going on to wash mine. It's got a film of dirt all over. Mind you, it's still reflecting light on to other cars, and you can see the depth of the Blue Streak Pearl. But it's not clean, and I'm not happy about that. It needs a fresh coat of wax too, but that's going to have to wait another few weekends. jkeaton

There is an insulated cup holder on the bucket and cup holders on the mower! jkeaton, rolly and dj cowboy
jkeaton
There is an insulated cup holder on the bucket and cup holders on the mower! Of course! Also have a cooler bolted to the hood! dj cowboy
