dp360
The brake dust is horrible. So it is only time before new brakes needed guranteed. You wouldn't happen to be able to post pics of what you consider horrible, would you? I don't know if I'm simply not having that problem or my tolerance for brake dust is high. I've got 1000 miles now without having washed it. Sure there's some dust, but I wouldn't classify it as horrible.

mkaresh
We've updated the results for the Journey to include owner experiences through December 31, 2009. In terms of repair trips per 100 cars per year, the 2009 Journey scored 80, which is much better than earlier and about average. We have two additional statistics, "Nada-odds" and "Lemon-odds," to indicate the percentage of cars with no repairs in the past year and those that required 3+ trips to the repair shop. In the case of the 2009 Journey, the percentage with no repairs is about 58, and the percentage of lemons is about 4. We'll have further updates in May and August. Additional participants always helpful. Especially need 2010s. Dodge Journey reliability comparisons
dp360
Let me just reiterate the plea for people with '10 model years to sign up. It's quick and painless and you're not going to get harassed by a bunch of email solicitations after you do it! You're also doing yourself a service - how else can you reliably learn about issues that may or may not exist? For example, has the infamous brake wear issue been resolved in MY '10? Is it really an issue at all? Signing up on TrueDelta will allow you to reliably monitor what other owners are experiencing with their Journey's and can be a good "head's up" if a common problem starts to emerge. mkaresh
Thanks for putting a good word in, guys. We should have a partial result for the 2010s with the August update, but really do need more participants to provide a precise result for the second model year. We have 90 2009s signed up, but only 16 2010s. As an added benefit, I recently enhanced the related repair history survey so that it can (optionally) be used as a personal car maintenance record. Updated Car Reliability Survey results for the 2009 in May. Car reliability research
