Steven Paiva
I had a 2009 SXT with 19" rims and we used 17" rims for the snow tires. was a great solution performance and price wise. We sold the snows with the 2009 but can't remember what size the tires and rims were. Anyone know where I could find that out? dhh3

Go to TireRack.com (or any other large tire retailer) and enter your vehicle information... They will have an answer for you immediately. dhh3 and jkeaton
jkeaton
If these were aftermarket 17" wheels, how would we know what size they were? Lol. If you don't have the vehicle, why do you need the info? A little background would be helpful. dhh3
dhh3
Little background: I have not used snow tires in over 20 years! All seasons work great for me.
bigtsr
2009 - 2011 had small front rotors and would take 16" rims while late 2012 to date will only allow the use 17" or larger. dhh3 and Steven Paiva
hockey_puck
Little background: I have not used snow tires in over 20 years! All seasons work great for me. And that is ok. But do remember, winter tire rubber compounds have changed drastically in the last 20 years and you can't compare old snow tyres with the new stuff. The new compounds are amazing. Better living through chemistry! dhh3 and Steven Paiva

Lobitz68
And $! I've been pricing them out and they are pretty cheap actually... $120 per tire aint bad. They would also extend the life of your summer tire. I have personally never tried them, but this year I think I am going to take the leap and see what all the hype is about. jkeaton
jkeaton
It's strange we think $120 each for a tire is reasonable....I just put tires on my daughters beater car....$33 each. All 4 tires with replacement certificates for less than $250.

jkeaton
Oh, I know, the $33 ones were 185/65-14, BUT, I just found replacement for the DJ (225/65-17) for $65 each. Getting them this weekend. $435 out the door with replacement certificates. Discount Tire is the bomb.
