dewitt
The last three days my journey will not start without getting a boost. No noises, lights and radio still work. The break is hard to push when trying to start it. The check engine light comes on after I get a boost. Battery checks out to be good. Any idea what is going on? dhh3
bramfrank
Your battery may still be bad . . . . what diagnostic code is shown? As to the 'hard' brake pedal, that is absolutely normal once the vacuum has bled off.
dewitt
not sure what you mean by diagnostic code? dhh3
Lobitz68
If the check engine light comes on then there should be a diagnostic code that tells you what is going on. Have the code read and you will likely have your answer. dhh3

jkeaton
Post the exact code. Or search the Internet for a description of the code. dhh3

Agreed. You will get a lot better advice if we can see the code. It's probably not a fix that will be hard to figure out if there is a code popping up. dhh3, jkeaton, rolly and 1 other
