What kind of projectors did he quote you with? 6.0 are great and same with md2s.

Hey,

So I don't know what projectors he was qouting but he just increased the price 3x when i asked him so i am not sure if I want to get the work done from him. I am now leaning towards this:

Not really no lol, product I used was the light diffuser you would see in apartments or offices. Poped put the amber reflector. Used a heat gun cause the oem reflector has a slight bend. Just a simple trace and cut.

Cool, thanks!

No, I am not a moron, I just haven't decided on whether I'm going to go with HID's or LED.

I've had HID's on various cars for over ten years, including E-Code's on my Corrado, to a projector retrofit on my JEEP, which I hardwired to an independent switch on the dash, but with the Journey, I don't want to mess with any wiring just yet.

I may do a retrofit once the weather warms up, I have a few hid kits and misc bulbs in the garage from past vehicles.

But for now, for $40cdn shipped, I figured I would try some Leds, order some yesterday on aliexpress.

Wasn't calling anyone a moron. Just trying to understand. HIDs will blind oncoming drivers. I tried them, but did not get the relay kit so abandoned them. Now running led's which are on par with HIDs imo. Hirs are better as far as cut off is concerned.

Can you post a picture of the car with the headlights on facing the wall once the LED's are installed? Curious to see the results.

Will try to remember once they arrive. I ordered LED replacements for low beam, fogs, and license plate lights on Friday, via the slowboat, so it may be a while before they arrive.

I believe jkeaton had previously posted a picture of his in this, or another thread.
