mbardsley
Well we got our Journey SXT with 19" tires 6 weeks ago. 3 weeks into the vehicle, we picked up a small nail in the sidewall, unrepairable. No one has this size, went to the dealer, $225 per tire not including mounting, and wont have it for up to 3 weeks. Fix-A-Flat got us going short term. 2 weeks later, tire 2 goes out. another pin hole object in sidewall. So know am looking at being out 500 plus for tires on a brand new vehicle, dealer is gone, due to Chryslers Bankruptcy. New dealer could give a rats butt. So Good al discount tires, they are a Kohmo dealer, Told me to get rid of thoose "Soft tires" nothing but trouble. Good luck find 19" tires, not many made
Sam
If you want something else than Kuhmo, like I said in another topic: Look for 255/50/19 tires (original tire size is 225/55/19). Your speedometer reading will be 1% too slow... not so bad. A reading difference under 3% is ok.You can also look for 245/50/19. Speedometer reading will be 0.3% too fast, but you have less choice in this size.
tg-journey
I've had the same issue but the first was mid 08 and nobody had them but we've had to more puntures since but I had the dealer search for tires and they have no issue getting new ones but yeah the price is high but they are 19's. 22,000 miles and they are sitll in good shape so they will stay on mine a bit longer.
