sxt12
I recently bought a 2012 sxt awd. I went to change the oil and for life of me could not get the plug to come loose. I went through about 5 different tools and all the "tricks" I read about on forums and nothing worked. This plug must be made of butter because it soft as hell and is just shredding more and more with every try. Needless to say I've come to the point of just replacing the lower part of the pan as it is only 40 bucks and I can imagine a shop or dealer will charge me a lot to weld a bolt to the damaged one in order to get it off. So my question then is are there any tips when doing the pan change, any cautions? dhh3

onecrazyfoo4u
Just get some channel locks latched onto the bolt then whack it with a hammer. That's always my last ditch for a stripped bolt 2late4u and dhh3
