Camper
Pick up my new 2016 Crossroad a 10 days ago, discovered a little bit delay on Instantaneous Fuel Economy. This display shows the instantaneous MPG or L/ 100 km in bar graph form while driving. This will monitor the Fuel Economy gas mileage in real-time as you drive and can be used to modify driving habits in order to increase fuel economy. On my car bar graph start show up the fuel consumption and economy at 60 KM/H. Does any one experience this issue at any year of Journey, including 2009;2010;2011;2012;2013;2014;2015;2016?Does this issue year specific, or some sensor have to be replaced, to resolve this issue? On my 2012 Journey Crew, I do not have such a delay, for instantaneous MPG or L/ 100 km in bar graph. dhh3
dhh3
I keep mine on the Fuel Economy all the time, and there is no delay. There is a little white triangle over what my present MPG is, and as long as I keep the bar at or past this mark, I'm doing good. No delay. jkeaton

dhh3
Thanks for posting. No delay on mine at all. Curious to see what the Dealer will tell you. We are used to seeing pictures when people are driving. Someone driving 118 mph comes to mind! Edited February 15, 2016 by dhh3
jkeaton
Try resetting the mileage and see if that works. It's just a glorified vacuum gauge. At any rate, I never look at mine except once in a blue moon to see what I'm averaging and compare it to calculated mileage. I have never been able to "modify my driving habits" to gain any significant mileage numbers. I drive like I drive and the mileage is what it is. Steve_T
2015 RT, also shows realtime, no delay.
SeanTacular
I think bramfrank is right. When accelerating from a stop mine won't go green until I stop accelerating and start cruising. If I'm getting on the highway mine will look exactly the same until 120kmph or when ever I ease off the gas. jkeaton

Hi Camper, Did you get a chance to take your vehicle to the dealership for the instantaneous fuel economy display? If so, what was the outcome?
