CameraGuy
Hello all, My new 2016 Journey RT has a built in 115V outlet and I have not been able to determine if the inverter is a pure sine or modified sine unit. I am hoping someone here may know the answer, so I am posting it for the Journey gurus to chime in on. Thanks in advance for any replies.
Journeyman425
Very good question and one that has never been asked of me. So, I did some research on the Chrysler side and came up with nothing. I wrote to Service Technical Assisance Resources (STAR) and now await their response. May not be until Tuesday since Monday is a holiday. dhh3 and jkeaton
bramfrank
I'll drag my scope to the car and check it - it will provide the definitive answer. I'll post the result in an hour or two when I get back home again.
bramfrank
It's freaking cold in my garage. It certainly isn't Sine, and it isn't 50% duty cycle square wave. It looks to be PWM . . . . . this is unloaded. rolly and jkeaton
