probak118
Anyone else have the issue of your driver's window sometimes stopping halfway up ? Is this a feature if I do not hit the "auto" feature on the window up button properly? Does not happen all the time, but with the ok weather recently, I noticed it again. I put the window down again and re-try and usually it goes up all the way.
jkeaton
Not me. Never that cold around here. There is an existing thread about having to push the button twice.
bigtsr
I would say that if your not dententing to the "auto" point of course it's going to stop but "not" at the same specific position constantly. It's possible that you may have reprogram the auto up stop point (this was posted in the past) by I believe physically holding the button to down for 1second after it reaches that position then do the same for full up. jkeaton
bramfrank
Or, the track might require lubrication. The pinch guard may be tripping. Edited February 21, 2016 by bramfrank

Thanks, Kathleen Top Care Specialist FCA Canada Reset It may be necessary at some point in time to reactivate the Auto-up/Auto-down feature. To do so, perform the following steps: 1. Pull the window switch up to close the window completely and continue to hold the switch up for an additional two seconds after the window is closed. 2. Push the window switch down firmly to the second detent to open the window completely and continue to hold the switch down for an additional two seconds after the window is fully open. larryl and jkeaton

bramfrank
Because the problem is intermittent I seriously doubt that resetting the travel will make any difference - again, I suspect the anti-pinch function is being tripped and unless they measure the required force as a function of the learn process the problem will persist.
