Aidinbaby
I love my journey but I've been having issues with it starting! I can be running errands and everything is fine then when I turn the key it just does a couple clicking sounds then nothing. I usually have to have someone come jump the car and that works most of the time. We have replaced the battery, altanator, ignition switch, and starter but it still happens! Any ideas of what is going on it doesn't show any error codes when read at the mechanic?
OMSmedia
First off did you do the recall from last year...you get new keys and ignition. Second....push the stick to the right and reset park light...try to start. Last up..put a new battery in Key FOB. If still persists...a short...or a lemon law attorney is next
redtomatoman
Totally non-mechanical comment here. Maybe the previous poster is alluding to this, but isn't there a park sensor that can be malfunctioning? The DJ won't start if it thinks it's in gear. Good luck. Peace. jkeaton
redtomatoman
Will it start in neutral? Or if the brake is pressed more firmly? Peace. jkeaton
bigtsr
Been posted xxx times before but tranny range selector assy or cables at the starter itself. Give me a break lemon law on a potentially 8 year old car!!! jkeaton

If the starter is just clicking it's not getting enough current , a bad cable to the starter or battery would cause this. Lemon law on a 2009 car ,I think not jkeaton
