OMSmedia
2009 Journey SXT - 3.5l 2 years ago after a front end accident...the Computer and wiring harness was replaced. All was good except after 2 months the check engine light came on... When brought to the dealer...they said that OXY sensor wire wiggled it self our and that is what gave the error.....they said they pushed it back in (although would not show me where)....two months later ...same thing. I would clear the code and all was fine for a few months. Last year...as I was getting ready to sell the Journey the tyranny stopped shifting. (113K miles...so not too broken up)..after the repair..the tech said the wire for the Oxy Sensor was in the wrong place and put it back in the right one....and you guessed ...two months later ...check engine on again. So for 5 months she sat...battery died...put in new one..took to dealer for a old recall...and have them smog it for the sale....they said I need to drive it for 100 miles to get enough data for the smog (still charged me $85....bastards) I have done 200 miles...went back in for the smog....still says not ready...'catalytic/oxygen not enough data' I have no check engine light. So the Question...Does anyone know the PinOut and plug on ECU that is for the Oxy sensors? Don't get me wrong..has 115K miles on it....and has done her job well. jkeaton
Check the wiring diagrams thread in the Maintenance DIY section. Might be in there. Edit: Never mind, looks like the link is dead. I'll try to find another one. Edited March 8, 2016 by jkeaton dhh3
